Summer break has begun...for me at least. Jordan and Peyton still have two more weeks of school and Madison still has until June 3rd. This semester was hard and I am looking forward to this break. I applied to nursing school and now just waiting to hear back. I could take some classes this summer towards my bachelors degree, but I figured this is my last summer just being a Mommy so I am taking it. Next summer I will have to take classes and then hopefully graduating the next May so I will get a job outside of the house. Peyton is only 2, Jordan 4, and Madison 6 so in no way are my Mommy responsibilities even close to being done, thank God, but having three girls-54 birthday parties, 39 school clothes shopping excursions, 3 cars, 3 colleges, 3 weddings, ect..., starting an extra cash flow coming in pretty soon is essential.
I have been full time Mommy for almost 7 years now and have enjoyed every minute of it, well almost :) I thank God every day for being able to stay home and take care of my girls. With the way Andy's schedule has been for the last 8 years I don't know how we would have survived if I had to work full time days and him full time evenings and then some. I know that we are blessed and we are all very thankful for it. We (hopefully) have some big changes in store for us starting in August and we are preparing for them. I will hopefully be starting nursing school, Madison will start 1st grade, Jordan in Kindergarten, and Peyton will stay 3 days at Noah's Ark Preschool and 2 days with Daddy.
Starting June 4th thru August 25th we are going to enjoy our family life as we know it to the fullest. I have several things planned for the girls and I while Daddy is working and another whole set of stuff for when he is off. And very much looking forward to vacationing in Myrtle Beach in July. So bring on Summer time....we are ready!
